The Ante Up Poker Tour Atlantis Casino Main Event has arrived. The first of two opening day flights gets started today, as Day 1a kicks off at 11 a.m. This $1,100 buy-in tournament comes with a $200,000 guarantee.

Players will start with 25,000 chips, with 40-minute levels beginning at 100/100 blinds. A big blind ante will take effect at Level 2, which stays at 100/100 and adds 100 for the ante.

The field will take 15-minute breaks after every three levels, with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 9. Late registration will be available up until the beginning of Level 10.

The $200,000 Main Event comes in as the centerpiece of the Ante Up Atlantis series, which guarantees $350,000 across all events.

Kevin O’Donnell has already taken down first place in two events, coming away with wins in the $260-buy-in, $10,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event, as well at the $200 Western Seniors Poker Series ($15,000 guaranteed) No-Limit Hold’em event. With two wins already under his belt, O’Donnell is looking to wrap up a successful run in Reno with a deep run in the Main Event, should he choose to enter.

Imad Allaham, one of the most successful players in the history of the Ante Up Poker Tour, is the defending champion in the Main Event.

Baldwin Sits Down for Level 1

Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin

With more than 6.3 million in career earnings, Eric Baldwin is one of the toughest players in the field as the Ante Up Atlantis Main Event gets underway.

Baldwin is sitting on less than the starting stack at the moment, but he chipped up in a recent hand. From under the gun, Baldwin bet 1,800 on the turn with the board showing {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. His opponent on the button folded.
