Play is now officially under way on the final table of Event #2 - $1,100 Pot Limit Holdem event. A nice little crowd has gathered around the table here in the poker room and we should be in for an exciting day's play.

Sam Youssef raises it up to 6,000 from middle position on the very first hand of the final table. He gets no action and flashes pocket kings!
The table seems rather serious and perhaps a tad nervous as there is very little table talk at this early stage.

The action folds to Chris Chronis who completes from the small blind. Alex Keating raises to 6,000 from the big blind and Chronis makes the call.
The flop brings and Chronis checks. Keating bets out 7,700 and Chronis check-raises the pot. Keating instantly folds and Chronis takes down a nice early pot.

Alex Keating - 9th Place
Chris Chronis opened the action in middle position with a raise to 5,000. Alex Keating re-raises to 18,000 before Chronis moves all in. Keating calls and the cards are flipped.

The board came and amazingly Chronis found himself with quad aces to eliminate Keating in 9th place for a return of AU$3,780.

Manny Stavropoulos - 8th Place
David Gorr opened the action with a raise to 5,000 and Manny Stavropoulos pushes his short stack into the middle. Richard Sara then came over the top of both players with another raise for all of his chips. Gorr stepped out of the way and the players tabled their cards:

Once again a battle of aces versus jacks, and once again the aces took it down with a board of sending Stavropoulos home in 8th place for AU$5,670 in prize money.

Anna Wroblewski's Chips
Anna Wroblewski has yet to take her seat at the final table of today's event. Rumor has it she's very deep in a major online tournament at Full Tilt. She started the day with 92,000 in chips and has been blinded down to 81,800. In the meantime, three players have been eliminated from the tournament!
Some rough math reveals that while she's lost 12% of her starting stack, her guaranteed money has increased by approximately 200%!
