Event 1: Allard Has All the Chips

Moments after eliminating Coleem Chestnut to end the former chip leader's precipitous fall from grace, New Yorker Allard Broedelet just hauled in another massive pile of chips.

His victim this time was Kathleen Long, who began Chestnut's descent earlier by calling a bet on every street with just ace-high.

The action began when the flop fell {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, and Broedelet tapped the table for a check. Long fired away with a bet of 300,000, and Broedelet flatted to see the {K-Hearts} fall in on the turn.

After another check her way, Long made it 500,000 to play, but rather than smooth-calling this time around, Broedelet pumped the action up to 1.2 million. Long came along for the ride and the river card was the {A-Spades}. Broedelet tossed out a bet of 1.5 million, and when Long looked him up the native New Yorker revealed his {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for a full house. Long could only muster {Q-}{8-} for trip queens, and suddenly she went from scratching an item off of her bucket list to nearly kicking the bucket.
