Failla Blast Reis Off the Pot

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Will "The Thrill" Failla opened to 7,000 from middle position and both blinds defended, Rafael Reis included. The dealer fanned out {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} on the flop and action checked to Failla who bet 10,000.

Action folded to Reis, he check-raised to 28,000 and Failla moved all in for 89,500. Reis took several minutes to think but in the end, he let go of his hand, shipping the pot to Failla.

Macri Takes the Lead

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ralph Macri
Ralph Macri

The flop showed {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and three players had all over their chips pushed into the middle, Ralph Macri included.

Opponent: {a-}{q-}
Opponent: {q-}{q-}
Ralph Macri: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Macri was well in the lead with his set of jacks, but needed to dodge some outs to take down the pot. A {10-Spades} turn card came down on the turn, improving Macri to a boat and the river rolled out clean, cementing the pot for Macri who eliminated two players and now has the tournament chip lead.
