The fourth flight of the 2019 BPO Event #1: $600 Deepstack $1,000,000 Guaranteed NLH drew a total of 273 entries bringing the combined Event 1 total to 932 entries.
After sixteen levels of play it's Matt Stout leading the 36 day 1d survivors with a healthy stack of 391,000.
Some of the other big stacks and players that are advancing to day two include She Lok Wong (356,000), Song Choe (348,000), Kenny Hunyh (306,000), Stephen Ma (255,000), David Prociak (226,000) and John McGuinness (181,000).
Plenty of familiar faces fell by the wayside including Greg Fishberg, Stanley Lee, DJ MacKinnon, Greg Himmelbrand, Josias Santos, Matt Mendez, and Bob Hover.
The combined day 1a-f survivors will return on Friday, September 6 at noon local time to resume Day 2 play. A full list of day two chip counts and seating assignments will be posted as soon as they're available.
The day 1d Event 1 players are now on a 10-minute color up break. This is the last break of the night and there will be just one level of play remaining when play resumes.
The action folded to the player in the hijack who raised to 9,000. Bob Hover moved all in from the button for 78,500 and the blinds folded. The player in the hijack called turning over and Hover would need to improve holding .
The board ran out improving the player in the hijack to trip aces and Hover was sent to the rail.

Anthony Maio moved all in for 39,500 from the cutoff and Nick Ahmadi called from the big blind. Maio turned over and he was dominated by the of Ahmadi.
The board ran out and Maio paired his three on the turn to earn the double up.

Nick Ahmadi got his stack of 77,500 all in pre-flop in a classic coin flip holding against the of Ryan Eriquezzo. The dealer fanned the flop and Eriquezzo's pocket queens maintained the lead.
"That's not good" said Ahmadi as the hit the turn. Ahmadi was just one card away from elimination and he would need an ace or a king on the river to stay alive.
The completed the board and Ahmadi spiked his ace on the river to win the flip and double through Eriquezzo.
