The fifth flight of Event #10: $400 Almighty Stack NLH has come to a halt after 17 levels of play, with 839 entries compiled. Rueben Finkel bagged 1,342,000 in chips and it seems to be the biggest of the 198 Day 1e survivors to make it through.

A familiar face emerged from the field to bag a healthy 928,000 and that face is Arie Praisman who was part of a deal two days ago in Event #9: $300 Deepest Stack NLH. Praisman bagged another monster stack here today and will look to make another final table.

Some other big stacks advancing to Day 2 are Adam Agaey (1,319,000), Gilberto Taveras-Garcia (1,238,000), Michael Dichiaro (1,170,000), and Sarang Ahuja (1,127,000).

Many notable players bagged up and grabbed themselves a birth to the second day including Ory Hen (1,067,000), Olamide Otti (1,053,000), William Braden (819,000), CJ Biddle (664,000), Eric Siegel (646,000), Charles Kassin (606,000), and Aaron Massey (288,000).

The 839 that showed up brought the total to 2,020 which is just shy of the guarantee. The final flight is already underway and is sure to catapult the total prize pool well beyond the guarantee that was set. All players will be returning tomorrow at 12 p.m. to battle it out and the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to bring you all of the updates.

Biddle Continues to Prosper Late in the Day

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

CJ Biddle opened from the hijack and a player in the big blind defended. The dealer spread out {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} on the flop and both players checked to the {5-Clubs} turn card.

The big blind player bet 15,000 and Biddle called to see the {9-Diamonds} river card. A bet of 30,000 came from the big blind player and Biddle snap-called, tabling {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. His opponent mucked {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} as Biddle scooped another pot late in the day.

Palermo and Olisar Flip for the Pot

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Leonardo Palermo opened and Ryan Olisar moved all in for around ten big blind, Palermo called and the two tabled their cards.

Ryan Olisar: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Leonard Palermo: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Palermo's flopped ace took down the pot, sending Olisar out of the tournament.
