Gelman Sends Lazelle Out Late in the Day

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Glenn Lazelle
Glenn Lazelle

Gary Gelman opened from the button and Glenn Lazelle moved all in for about 60,000 in the small blind. Gelman called and the two tabled their cards with Lazelle at risk.

Glenn Lazelle: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Gary Gelman: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The flop peeled over {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Gelman's set of snowmen took a commanding lead. The dealer burned and turned an {a-Spades}, giving Lazelle three aces and some outs to take down the pot. The {k-Hearts} river was not one of those outs as Gelman pulled in the pot with his boat, eliminating Lazelle from the tournament.

Hamid Izadi Adds to Stack with a Knockout

The board showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Hami Izadi moved his opponent all-in. His opponent called without hesitation, tabling {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for aces over sevens with a king kicker.

Izadi turned over {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a boat and more than enough to take down the pot, eliminating his opponent from the tournament as he added another pot to his stack late in the day.

Reis Sends Kachittavong to the Cleaners Again

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Rafeal Reis opened and Soukha Kachittavong moved all in for about 85,000. Reis called and the two tabled their cards with Kachittavong at risk of elimination.

Soukha Kachittavong: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Rafael Reis: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Reis' queens still lead the way. The {3-Clubs} landed on the turn, leaving Kachittavong with more chance for romance, but the {10-Clubs} river failed to improve his hand as Reis took down the pot, eliminating Kachittavong from the tournament.
