"Rossi2449" is the newest champion of the 2020 partypoker US Network Online Mini-Series after they defeated "Frickencat18" heads up and topped a field 185 entrants Friday afternoon to win Event #9: $1,000 GTD NLH for $273.

A late registration and rebuy period of more than three-and-a-half hours were available. Once closed, only 31 players remained with 21 of them making it into the money. From there, play continued for almost six full levels before the tournament to reach its final table.

Final Table Action

The final table started off with a quick elimination with "JFPIV" taking their exit in ninth place. The next elimination would take place just a few moments after in the same level when "Peanut66's" Big Slick fell victim to "Brusko59's" pocket aces to send them out in eighth place.

The next two virtual bodies fell in Level 26 with "pocketfire76" falling in seventh place and "Ducati" in sixth place.

"brossj" was the only player to fall in Level 27 after their superior ace-jack fell to eventual winner "Rossi2449's" ace-nine.

The final three eliminations happened in quick succession after "Brusko59, "freebird22," and "Frickencat18" all fell in Level 28.
