Goran Catches a Bluff With the Nut Flush

Over on the feature table, there is a pair of players just referred to as their first names, Goran and Marco. The duo just battled it out.

Both players were heads-up on a single raised preflop pot on the flop. Goran checked on the {3-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop before he called a bet of €18 from Marco.

Both players checked after the {8-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Goran then led out for a bet of €65 after the {3-Clubs} appeared on the river. Marco tanked for a couple of minutes before he fired out a raise to €245. Goran quickly called with a nut-flush holding {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and took down a pot of €576 after his opponent didn't have a full house or better holding {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Players traveled far and wide for the Cash Game Festival Slovenia. A Lithuanian player, who asked to be just referred to by his first name Karolis, couldn't wait for the festival to begin and was already playing cash games last night. He is back in action again today and just doubled up his stack on a €1/€3 no-limit hold'em table.

Karolis three-bet preflop against Cash Game Festival French Blogger Maxime Roseau, who called. Karolis fired out a big bet on a {9-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop before Roseau called.

The Lithuanian then went all-in when the {3-Hearts} hit the turn and Roseau called again. The usually mild-manner Roseau muttered "shit" when he saw he was behind with {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} against his opponent's {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. The {2-Clubs} was of no help to Roseau and the dealer shipped a big pot of around €500 to Karolis.

Karolis played a few more hands before stepping away from the table and is back to being all smiles. He shared it only takes one hand for fortunes to change.

"It was a loss after a good grind before," explained Roseau. "I am back to where I started off after being ahead €300 and am going to head back to the grind."
