Big Wins for Peter La Terra and Adrian Raiceanu Highlight CGF Slovenia Day 1 Action
Day 1 of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Slovenia was full of action and fun throughout the day and evening.
The festival began at 5:00 p.m. with many players enjoying champagne during the welcome drinks ceremony. Shortly later, the first televised feature table kicked off with players battling it out in €1/€2 pot-limit Omaha.
Cash Game Festival regular Peter La Terra came straight off a flight to appear on the feature table and walked away as the big winner during the first session after hauling in almost €700 in profit.
Romania's Adrian Raiceanu walked away with the most loot on the €2/€5 no-limit hold'em televised feature table logging a win of around €700.
The poker action is expected to get busier and busier as the weekend approaches. Those with the hospitality package will be off to an early start with a jaw-dropping trip to Soca Fun Park.
Many other players will likely be enjoying the delights of the picturesque town of Nova Gorica before hitting the Perla Casino poker room for exciting ring game action.
