The turn card paired the board when the fell. Seiver stayed on the gas and bet 12,600. Mercier didn't rush things and made the call to head to fifth street.
On the river, the landed. Seiver moved all in for a little over 40,000. Mercier snap-called as if he were acting out his best Phil Hellmuth impression. Seiver knew it was bad news even though he tabled the for a straight to the six. Mercier had him beat with the for a full house.
Mercier was all in on the river for 31,600, and he vaulted his stack well over 100,000 while leaving Seiver with just 10,300 in chips.
