The €25,000 Single Day High Roller II has come to its conclusion after 9 hours of play. The single-day event attracted 21 entries to generate a prizepool of € 504,210 which the top four finishers grabbed a piece of.

Grabbing the largest piece at the end of the day was Andras Nemeth who won the grand prize of €211,760 after an utterly dominating performance.

The well-known EPT regular from Hungary has amassed over a whopping $3,400,000 in career earnings and this prize will fit in nicely amongst the top ten largest scores of his career. It is also the second EPT Spadie trophy he has won in his career, with the other one being at EPT Barcelona in 2018, which remains the largest live score of his career.

The day began slowly as only four players started the day. But more entries would come steadily and peak at fourteen playing at one time with a few players buying in more than once to create fourteen unique entrants over the 21 entries.

Nemeth would play the role of grim reaper for the field as he became the overwhelming chip leader just before the final table congregation and really set sail after a key hand that busted other big stack Ole Schemion.

From that point on, it never really looked like there would be anything to help relinquish the grip of Nemeth as he continued to decimate the table and accumulated as much as two-thirds of the chips in play with six players still remaining.

Stephen Chidwick became the bubble boy when he was eliminated to bring the field into the money with four players.

Nemeth would show no mercy on his fellow cashers as he eliminated Yuri Dzivielevski in fourth place and then Sirzat Hissou in second place shortly after and held 83% of the chips going into heads-up play which he would finish off after very brief resistance from Pablo Brito Silva who finished as runner-up to make for a relatively quick day at the office for a massive payday.

That wraps things up for this event in EPT Prague. PokerNews’s coverage continues throughout the rest of the night and into the weekend as the action rolls on.

Sirzat Hissou

Pablo Brito Silva limped his small blind / button and Andras Nemeth raised to 40,000 in the big blind. Silva then moved all-in for 361,000 and Nemeth called with a chance to win the tournament.

Pablo Brito Silva: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Andras Nemeth: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop was clean for Silva, but the {7-Diamonds} on the turn put Nemeth one card away from victory.

The {10-Spades} on the river ended things, as Silva was eliminated as the runner-up to Nemeth.

Chidwick Bubbles 25k Single Day High Roller II

Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Andras Nemeth raised to 20,000 under the gun. Stephen Chidwick moved all in for his remaining 13,000 from the button. Sirzat Hissou called the small blind and Pablo Brito Silva called in the big also.

Four players saw the flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. The three players contesting the side pot all checked.

The turn was the{10-Diamonds}. Hissou bet 25,000, Brito Silva and Nemeth folded fast.

Hissou tabled the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} boat. Chidwick stood up, tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and started to rapidly walk out the door before the river {j-Spades} was even dealt as he was gone as the bubble boy.

Dzivielevski Doubles, Puts Chidwick on Bubble Short Stack

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

After Andras Nemeth opened under the gun to 21,000, Yuri Dzivielevski moved all-in on the short stack for 97,000.

Stephen Chidwick then moved in over top for about 170,000. Nemeth and the rest of the table folded and we had our first chance to burst the money bubble.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The flop gave Chidwick a world of outs, as he laid out {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

But if you're a believer in 'too many outs', this was the case here, as the {3-Spades} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river brought no help to Chidwick, putting him under ten big blinds, while Dzivielevski's stack received a healthy boost.

Nemeth Has Heaps as Schemion Whiffs

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

From under the gun, Andras Nemeth raised to 16,000. Ole Schemion called from the small blind and Pablo Brito Silva also called in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Nemeth bet 22,000, Schemion called and Brito Silva folded.

The {7-Hearts} came on the turn. Nemeth bet again, this time for a juiced-up amount of 90,000. Schemion took a time extension before he announced all in which Nemeth snap-called.

Ole Schemion: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Andras Nemeth: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Nemeth had the flopped set of ladies while Schemion had the nut flush draw. The river did not come a diamond as the {4-Spades} blank peeled off to bust Schemion and send his large chunk of chips across the table to Nemeth who now has north of 100 big blinds.

Nemeth Continues to Roll

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Andras Nemeth opened the action in first position with a raise to 10,000. He was called on the button by Daniel Dvoress.

Nemeth check-called another 10,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, and 23,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn.

Nemeth checked one more time on the {k-Diamonds} river, and Dvoress fired a final time for 89,000, leaving himself a single T-1,000 chip behind.

Nemeth called and showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a ten-high straight, while Dvoress could only show {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

"How Much Must He Hate Me?"

Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

With 54,000 in the pot already on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Sam Grafton checked to Daniel Dvoress who bet 12,000. Grafton then check-raised all-in for 115,000 and Dvoress called.

Sam Grafton: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Daniel Dvoress: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

"How much must he hate me? How much must he dislike me to make that call?", joked Grafton as the cards were tabled.

The dealer must like Grafton though because nothing wild came as he put out the {7-Spades} and {9-Spades} on the turn and river to lock up the double up for the PokerStars Ambassador.

Dvoress Slows Down Hissou

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Sirzat Hissou has held the chip lead most of the day, but he's recently lost it after a huge all-in pot with Daniel Dvoress.

Dvoress raised to 7,000 in the hijack and was three-bet by Hissou in the small blind to 21,000.

Dvoress came back over top all-in for 124,000 and Hissou called.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Sirzat Hissou: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The board came {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}, pairing Dvoress' ace on the flop to give him a double up through the now former chip leader.

Meanwhile the field has grown to 10 players in action with the addition of PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton at Table 1.
