Konstantin Held Eliminated in 6th Place (€244,000)

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Konstantin Held
Konstantin Held

Fabrice Bigot raised to 300,000 on the button and up next it was Konstantin Held, who opted to move all in from the small blind for 3,580,000 with short-stack Henri Kasper in the big blind.

The Estonian quickly got out of the way while Bigot asked for an exact count and called.

Konstantin Held: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Fabrice Bigot: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Held made a heroic move at the wrong time and didn't find much help on the {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop.

The {10-Diamonds} turn gave both straight draws, but the {2-Clubs} river changed nothing whatsoever. Ace-queen high was enough for Bigot to score the knockout, sending Held to the payout desk in sixth place for €244,000 while Kasper enjoyed yet another pay jump.

Denzel Spekman Eliminated in 7th Place (€187,650)

Level 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Denzel Spekman
Denzel Spekman

Denzel Spekman raised in the previous hand with pocket nines to collect the blinds and antes.

He then raised to 240,000 with the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} from an early position and Razvan Belea three-bet to 750,000 with the {q-Spades}{9-Spades} in the hijack. Spekman quickly called within a couple of seconds to see a flop of {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}, giving the Dutchman top pair.

The check by Spekman brought a bet of 425,000 of Belea and the subsequent call led them to the {q-Diamonds} turn that went check, check. On the {9-Diamonds} river, Spekman opted to open-shove for 3,145,000 with his top pair and Belea eventually called to knock out the Dutchman in 7th place for €187,650.

River Saves Jorgne in Massive Pot over Delaney

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Peter Jorgne
Peter Jorgne

Brian Delaney raised in the cutoff to 210,000 with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Peter Jorgne just called on the button with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} bringing top pair to Delaney who bet 230,000. Jorgne then raised his overpair to 600,000 and got called by Delaney.

The turn was the {10-Spades}, giving Delaney two pair and he now checked. Jorgne fired big for 2,100,000, which Delaney called.

Jorgne was in potentially big trouble until the {k-Hearts} appeared on the river, bringing him a miraculous set. Delaney checked once more and now Jorgne bet 2,600,000, which sent Delaney deep into the tank.

Delaney was pained, leaning back in his chair, rubbing his head, and trying to piece together whether his two pair was good.

After using five time banks, he called and saw the bad news. The pot sent Jorgne past Razvan Belea into the chip lead, while despite losing the huge pot, Delaney remained in third place.
