In the latest edition of the PokerNews Podcast, Sarah Herring, Chad Holloway, and Jesse Fullen welcome guest Phil Galfond to the show. The poker legend gives more details on his summer match against the poker dealer who stepped up to play him at some high-stakes online pot-limit Omaha (PLO) action, shares an update on the status of "The Galfond Challenge," and talks about the possibility of playing on PokerGO's High Stakes Duel, maybe against Phil Hellmuth or a PLO edition. He also talks about his recently-released PLO course.

Ziad Gharios bet 8,000 from the cutoff and was called by the button, small blind, and big blind.

Gharios continued the aggression on the flop of with a bet of 16,000 and was only called by the button.

The was tabled on the turn and Gharios bet 25,000. The button let go of their hand and Gharios is heading to the half-million mark.

Dusk Till Dawn regular Ian Gascoigne moved all in for 44,000 from the cutoff and was called by Tulga Bahadir on the button.

It was a fair race with Bahadir ahead with pocket sevens. The flop came to give Gascoigne a gutshot draw and a backdoor flush draw to go with their two over-cards.

However there was no help for Gascoigne as the completed the board and is sent to the rail, whilst Bahadir continues to build a massive stack.

After a bet of 6,000 from the cutoff from George Meitanis on with at least 10,000 in the middle, the big blind of Yuriy Zakharov made the call.

A turn didn't slow Meitanis down, this time he bet 23,000 when he was checked to and Zakharov called.

The river once again brought a check from Zakharov and he didn't take long to call after Meitanis bet the river to the tune of 45,000.

Meitanis proudly flipped over and Zakharov mucked his holding.

After the short stacked Artur Khostiyan moved all in for 20,000, the small blind of Tulga Bahadir made the call and the big blind folded as cards were tabled.

The board ran out to give the win to Khostiyan, doubling him up close to starting stack.

The remaining 17 players have vacated the cardroom for a break.
