The cards are in the air in Day 3 of the $5,300 Main Event.
All of the chips went in the middle before the flop, and Rehman Kassam was at risk for roughly 3,000,000 against Jenya Gavrilovich, and both hands were tabled.
Rehman Kassam: Q♣10♥
Jenya Gavrilovich: A♥K♦
The K♣J♦10♣ flop connected with both players, giving Kassam a pair and an open-ended straight draw, but he was still looking to improve as Gavrilovich had the lead with top pair. The J♥ turn, and 3♠ river were no help for Kassam though, as he stood up from the table.

Naji Tannoury initiated the action with an open raise to 700,000 from under the gun. Oliver Weis, sitting in the big blind, called.
On the flop 4♦A♦8♦, Weis check-called Tannoury's bet of 600,000.
The turn 7♣ saw a repeat of the action, with Weis checking to Tannoury, who then bet 800,000. Weis called.
The river K♦ brought the fourth diamond, opening up potential flush possibilities. This time, Weis took the lead, betting 1,500,000. Tannoury, holding A♣J♥ without a diamond, reluctantly folded.

In the pot were around 2,000,000 chips, and the flop showed 7♥3♠4♠ when PokerNews joined the action. Thomas Mayer, seated in the big blind position, checked to Leon Sturm, who bet 450,000. Mayer deliberated for a moment before pushing all in with around 6,175,000 chips. Sturm took his time considering the decision, costing him one time bank card, but ultimately made the call.
Thomas Mayer: K♦7♦
Leon Sturm: A♠4♥
Both players had a pair, but Mayer was ahead with a pair of sevens. The turn brought an 8♠, but the river sealed the deal with the A♦, giving Sturm two pair - aces and fours, and Mayer was eliminated from the tournament.

Three players saw the Q♠Q♦J♦ flop, and the action checked to Leon Sturm on the button who fired out 550,000 into the pot of 2,250,000. Marius Kudzmanas folded, while Selahaddin Bedir made the call.
When the A♥ hit the turn, both players tapped the table to see the 8♥ on the river.
Bedir took a few moments before pushing a bet of 3,800,000 across the line. Sturm moved all-in, and Bedir quickly called off his stack of about 6,000,000.
Bedir rolled over Q♥J♣ for queens full of jacks, but it was no good as Sturm showed A♣Q♣.

Seated on the button, Alex Keating opened the action with a raise to 750,000 chips, which was called by Naji Tannoury in the small blind. Yuhang Chen then went all in in the big blind without hesitation. Keating quickly followed suit with his own all-in move, prompting Tannoury to fold. It was time for a showdown.
Yuhang Chen: K♦Q♠
Alex Keating: A♠K♥
The flop and turn appeared promising for Keating, showing 9♣10♠8♥5♠, with only a jack or queen needed to help Chen. Chen's wish seemed to be granted as the J♦ appeared on the river.
"There will be swings, they said" Keating remarked after losing a significant portion of his stack, indicating his determination to continue fighting in the tournament.
