Armen Hachatryan Banned From Sochi Casino

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Armen Hachatryan had a stack of 222,600 taken from his bag this morning and placed at the table but he won’t be getting anywhere near it.

Hachatryan is notorious for his bad behaviour at the tables and the tournament organisers have finally had enough. There wasn’t one particular incident that got him banned but the constant abuse of dealers, floor staff and other players with excessive bad language was too much and he had finally exhausted everyone’s patience.

His stack will remain in play but it will be blinded out.

Armen Hachatryan is now banned from Sochi Casino for the foreseeable future.

*This article was amended at 22:45 to reflect corrected information that Hachatryan has been blacklisted at Sochi Casino and not, as previously reported, all PokerStars tournaments. He finished in 74th place for 120,000 RUB.
