Santo “kleinebakker007” Bakker of the Netherlands leads all players into Day 2 of WCOOP 91-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event] with over one million chips more than Mirza "zazano" Muhovic in second place. The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is reaching its climax as the guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000 attracted 1,692 entrants to the main event and many more are expected before the end of registration at the beginning of Day 2 on Monday.

Bakker was a factor all day in the top ten on the leaderboard and he took a massive lead in the final level of Day 1 when “mmoneyrakerp” shipped over a million chips to Bakker and his full house. Bakker is coming off a win in Event #64-M of the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) and looks to build on an already terrific year with a deep run in the WCOOP main event.

Other notables making their way into Day 2 include Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov, Mason "Pye_Face21" Pye, and Anton "Bomber&Granater" Wigg.

​​Monday’s Day 2 will start at 5:10 p.m. GMT on September 13 and will continue until 72 players are remaining. Day 3 will have Tuesday to play down to a final table that will take place on Wednesday September 15.

Players started with 250,000 chips and blinds will resume in Level 16 at 6000/12,000 and a 1,500 ante with an increase every 30 minutes. Re-entry is available for 24 hours after the start of the tournament and the registration period will close at the start of Day 2.

Patrick "pads1161" Leonard is enjoying a purple patch of form, one that has seen the popular British superstar secured back-to-back WCOOP titles. Leonard won the WCOOP #08-H: $5,200 NLHE 8-Max PKO on August 24, and followed that up with victory in the WCOOP-15-H: $1,050 NL 2-7 Single Draw 7-Max event.

Leonard’s victory came after he navigated his way through a star-studded field of 70 players in the $1,050 buy-in NL 2-7 Single Draw 7-Max tournament.

Bakker Scoops Huge Pot

"mmoneyrakerp" limped in from middle position and "icedavid" raised to 27,000. Santo "kleinebakker007" Bakker made the call from the button and "mmoneyrakerp" three-bet to 60,000. "icedavid" and Bakker both made the call.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and "mmoneyrakerp" fired 89,000. "icedavid" got out of the way and Bakker raised to 225,000. "mmoneyrakerp" made the call to see a {j-Diamonds} on the turn.

Bakker bet 477,000 on teh turn and "mmoneyrakerp" shoved for 1,115,465. Bakker made the quick call and turned over {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. "mmoneyrakerp" had {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The river was {8-Diamonds} and Bakker scooped the massive pot to felt "mmoneyrakerp" and move above four million chips.

Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov raised to 12,000 from under the gun and Paulo "paulinhoo00" Brombin three-bet to 42,000. The rest of the table folded around and Filatov four-bet to 129,000. Brombin four-bet to 216,000 and Filatov shoved for 1,042,815. Brombin made the call for his last 425,169.
