Drinan Busts After Being Left With Little by "Krendipoint"

Connor "blanconegro" Drinan three-bet in the big blind which was called by "krendipoint" who was on the button. The {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop prompted both players to move in their million plus stacks.

Drinan had flopped top pair with an ace kicked, but was thwarted by the top two pair held by "krendipoint" The turn and river came running deuces for Drinan to be left with 218,650.

Not long after, Bjorn "bokkie87" Verbakel sent Drinan to the rail after the latter moved all-in. Verbakel was ahead all the way with aces on the {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} run out, but the river did improve Verbakel to the flush.

The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) continues today with Day 2 of action in the WCOOP-92-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event], $750K Gtd. Just 201 players of the 688 strong field that survived Day 1. However with late registration running until just before Day 2 starts, there have been a few more entries trickle in before play gets underway.

Andorra's "#Naktro91" enters Day 2 as chip leader, one of the three stacks that eclipsed the 1 million chip mark. The player is in pole position to win their second WCOOP title of the year, after triumphing in last month’s WCOOP 05-H: $2,100 PLO [6-Max] for $72,203. "#Naktro91" also made it to Day 2 in WCOOP-92-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event], $1M Gtd which takes place at the same time, other players who made the second day of both tournaments include Ka Kwan "kaju85" Lau and Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amundsgard.

Other notables in the Day 2 field include PokerStars ambassador Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle and WSOP bracelet winners Connor “blanconegro” Drinan and Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress.

Day 2 will commence at 5:10 p.m. GMT, on Level 16 with the blinds at 3,000/6,000, with late registration closing for the tournament at 5:05 p.m. GMT. Today’s action ends once the player field has been whittled down to the final 18, Day 3 is when the winner of the event will be determined.
