Day 2 of SCOOP-04-M: $215 NLHE [Progressive KO, Sunday Million SE] resumes at 7:05 p.m CEST with 283 players returning for the battle.

One of the first events of the 2021 Spring Championship of Online Poker attracted 8,633 unique players who reentered 3,510 times to get to a total of 12,243 entries. This created a gargantuan prize pool of $2,448,600 almost double the original guarantee.

France's Quentin "BisouPartout" Roussey went to bed with the chip lead of 7,716,275. The Frenchman resides in Malta and apparently grabbed the chip lead at the end of the day. Luigi "Gofaziin26" Soncin won a few big pots in the later stages to end in second place with 7,215,805. Completing the top five in the counts are "Valenoze" (6,633,080), Gustavo "gusneves" Neves (6,432,503), and "Do-u-ont-river" (6,162,533).

Other familiar players who will return today include Felix "TheDegenFund" Van De Put, Olli "Erä_Koira" Ikonen, Dennys "dennysramos2" Ramos, Luis "luisdono" Dono, Fedor "CrownUpGuy"Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz, Regis "capotinha" Kogler, and Diogo "phounderAA" Veiga.

The 283 remaining players have all secured at least $452 plus any bounties they have earned while a spot at the final table comes with a payout of at least $9,819. A first-place finish for today's winner would mean grabbing $134,108 plus bounties, including their own. This all together with winning a coveted SCOOP title and the bragging rights that come with it.

When play resumes, the players will finish the remainder of Level 30 which features a small blind of 25,000, a big blinds of 50,000, and a running ante of 6,000. The level duration will remain at 15 minutes throughout and play will continue until a new SCOOP champion can be crowned.
