Randy Swackhamer Leads 21 Survivors From Flight D

It was another busy night at the Seneca Poker Room as 109 players turned out for Flight D of the Seneca Niagara Summer Slam. The $125 no-limit hold'em event with a $50,000 prize pool features six separate starting flights across three days with the survivors advancing to Day 2 on Thursday to play down to a champion.

Leading the way when Flight D came to a close was Randy Swackhamer with 147,300. Swackhamer won a massive pot late in the night when his held up against Matt Parry's after all the chip went in on a flop. That vaulted Swackhamer into the chip lead with 154,000 and he coasted the rest of the evening.

Joining Swackhamer atop the Flight D leaderboard were Chris Lang (145,800), Todd Saffron (133,400), Tony Rozario (126,000), and Doug Zimmerman (113,200).

The final two flights of Event #5 will take place on Wednesday and we'’ll have complete coverage of Event #5 until a champion is crowned on Thursday. The flagship $600 Main Event kicks off on Friday with the first of two starting flights, with the conclusion set for Sunday.
