The second of four starting flights for the $100,000 guaranteed 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic $300 No Limit Hold'em drew 160 entries inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.

Now, the event is a shoe-in to smash the $100,000 guarantee out of the park, with the third starting flight beginning at 10 a.m. local time Saturday and a fourth and final at 6 p.m.

Any and all survivors will push through to Sunday's Day 2, where the money awaits and a 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic opening event champion will be crowned.

The second flight saw 30 survive with wild and wooly local Andy Stover riding a roller coaster to the end-of-flight chip lead. He did have 400,000 at one point, but finally settled on 261,000 after a sharp and spewy downswing had him well below that early in the last level of the night.

When combined, that's a total of 48 going through to Sunday so far. Plus, those two more heats still to come tomorrow. Toronto, Canada's Alex Avdelopoulos from the first flight still holds a massive overnight chip lead, sitting on 440,000 going to Day 2.

That's it for tonight, but the action continues here on PokerNews with the third flight beginning about eight hours from now. Hasta Mañana.
