John Abraham Leads Six First Flight Survivors

The first of six starting flights for the The 2017 Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam $125 No-Limit Hold'em Reentry event drew 42 entries inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Monday.

With 9:56 left in Level 11 they reached six players remaining, representing 12 percent of the field, and play was halted.

John Abraham played a fast and loose style all day and when he got trapped, he found a way out of it to build a lead and a decent stack of 143,200 that he will take with him through to Thursday's Day 2.

Abraham is the leader in the clubhouse, but there's a lot more poker to be played in the meantime.

The second of six starting flights for the $125 No-Limit Hold'em Reentry event will go off at 6 p.m. this evening with four more set for the next two days.
