Robert Hunt Bags Biggest Out of Four in Day 1b of Event #6
Day 1b of Event #6: 1M GTD Mystery Bounty has finished after near ten hours of play. This second of eight flights attracted a tidy 31 entries, which played down to four players (12%) at the end of the day.
Bagging the chip lead amongst the surviving quartet of players was Robert Hunt who finished with 497,500. He grabbed the lead late in the night and won a few key hands late to put down the hammerlock on the chip lead.
Second in chips at the day’s conclusion was William Jacobson with 263,500 and Andrew Robinson finished the night just slightly behind him in third place with 258,000.

The fourth player to bag was Thomas Brabham who bagged 226,000. He won a dramatic three-way all in late when he called for his one time for his kings to hold vs pocket queens and pocket jacks. They did indeed hold and, according to him secured his first tournament cash in four years.
The four players will move on to Day 2, which is not until Sunday. There are still six more flights to go to determine who will join this group in advancing.
