The Lodge Championship Series has just had the Day 1e flight come to an end in Event 8: $1,600 Mystery Bounty 1 Million Guaranteed after 11 hours of play here in Round Rock, Texas. A total of 76 runners came through the doors, having just 10 bag up for the second day of this tournament.

Leading the way is Canada's Elliot Smith who piled his 756,500 stack into a Day 2 bag. Smith seemed to be on a constant grind until the last three tables. He picked up ace-king against Caleb Shumard who had pocket kings and managed to spike an ace to catapult into the lead.

Closest to the Canadian is Christopher Adams who was sitting in front until the final two tables started to deplete. Adams was on a steady climb throughout the night that saw him take the lead of the fight after he won two flips, eliminating an opponent in each. He is currently fourth overall in the chips counts headed into Day 2 with 555,500.

Felix Weis seemed to be running with few hurdles to surpass during the day, but Jesse Solano then became one. The turned board was king-high when Weis moved his chips into the middle holding big slick. Solano called with king-ten and caught a fortuitous ten on the river. Weis was left short but overcame it, finishing the night with 311,000 which was good for third on the leaderboard.

Chad Fullmer ended the day in a cooler of a hand, having a pair of aces versus the cowboys of Cary Douglass. An ace binked the flop, making Douglass the Day 2 bubble. Fullmer advanced with 289,000 headed into his bag by night's end.
