Day 1f of Event #6: 1M GTD Mystery Bounty is through for the night after almost twelve hours of play that went until 4:30 a.m. local time. This sixth of eight flights attracted the largest amount yet with 86 entries, which played down to just eleven players (12%) at the end of the day.

Bagging the chip lead was the Lodge Poker Club’s own Michael Reisman who put a gargantuan amount of 717,000 into his bag at the end of the night. He added the large majority of his chips in the last couple of levels including one of the final eliminations in the double-elimination bubble burst.

Second in chips at the day’s conclusion was Dale Roesel with 626,000 after he also started to lean on the field late to accumulate most of his stack.

Richard Chevalier finished third in chips with 514,000 as he had the lead a couple of levels before the end and coasted to a comfortable finish.

Hieu Dang launched himself into fourth in chips with 350,500 when he made the final elimination of the day after a dramatic rivered wheel finally burst the long bubble just seconds after the thirteen-handed stalemate had been broken by Reisman.

William Lahti rounded out the top five counts as he bagged 306,500, a somewhat modest amount after he had been the big chip leader earlier in the night with double the second largest stack, but his finishing amount will still be plenty moving forward.

The eleven players will move on to Day 2, on Sunday and join all the other advancing players.

PokerNews will continue with coverage of the final starting flights with Days 1g and 1h tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
