The third flight of Event 8: $1,600 Mystery Bounty $1 Million Guaranteed has now come to an end after ten hours of play here at The Lodge Poker Club in Round Rock, Texas. Day 1c saw 37 registrants hit the registration cage, and when the dust had settled only five advanced from the flight.
Sitting atop the leaderboard by night's end was Jeremy Kenter who bagged an impressive 581,000. Kenter took home the feat of being the Day 1c leader after finishing the night with the elimination of Matthew McDowell. He stacked up early and played with little fear right up until it was time to bag.
Next up on the totem pole is Guilebaldo Flores who filled his bag with 436,000 chips on this flight. Flores was sitting at the top of the food chain for a considerable amount of time during the final table but a late-night surge by Kenter dropped him to second to end the day. The other three to bag include Zachary Hambrice (231,000), Collin Ball (135,000), and Alexander Suprun (99,000).

The five survivors will combine with the rest of the Day 1 runners who advance for Day 2 on Sunday, May 15, at 2 p.m. to battle it out. The second-day players will all be guaranteed at least a min-cash and will have bounties in play, having every knockout earn a bounty chip that can be redeemed for a shot at the $100,000 top prize.
Blinds on Day 2 will bump up to 60-minutes in length and as of now, will begin at 2,500/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante. The prize pool, payouts, and seating chart will be posted prior to the start of play and the day will not end until a trophy is given away.

Jeremy Kenter opened to 15,000 from the cutoff and Matthew McDowell then shoved 45,000 in the small blind. Guilebaldo Flores called from the big blind and Kenter stuck around as well to make it a three-way pot.
The two players in the side pot checked through to the river, having fall on the felt during. Kenter then fired in a bet and Flores instantly folded.
McDowell turned over for a rivered pair of rockets but Kenter one-pipped him with his
to take down the hand with his jack-kicker. McDowell was eliminated and the final five players bagged up their stacks.

Matthew McDowell opened from the cutoff and Alexander Suprun was on the big blind when he move all in, totaling 52,500. McDowell called and the cards went over.

Just a few hands later it was Collin Ball putting his stack into the middle. Ball shoved 61,500 and Guilebaldo Flores called.

Jason Obinger opened from under the gun to 11,000, Jeremy Kenter called in the small blind, and Collin Ball decided to stick around as well from the big blind.
The dealer fanned out on the flop and all three checked through to the
turn. Obinger saw action check to him and he put in 20,000.
Kenter check-raised to 75,000, Ball folded and Obinger called after a moment of thought. An river completed the board, Kenter shoved and Obinger snapped for less, having around 57,000.
