Day 1c Started

Welcome to Day 1C of 1M GTD Mystery Bounty

The Lodge Chips
The Lodge Chips

The Lodge Poker Series just wrapped up their first Mystery Bounty two days ago and the energy grew high in the room every time someone pulled an envelope with a shot at the $40,000 top prize. Today will see two more Day 1's kick-off for Event 6: $1,600 Mystery Bounty 1 Million Guaranteed, which boast a hefty $100,000 top prize on Day 2.

Flight Day 1c will begin at 11 a.m. and as with all flights in this event, players will start with 40,000 in chips. Blinds will be 40-minutes in length on the first day and the second day will see them shoot up to 60-minutes. The Day 1's will end once the field has been whittled down to just 12% with all survivors bagging up for Day 2. The late registration period will remain open until the start of Level 7.

This event will see a total of eight flights over four days and once completed the final day will follow. On the last day, every time a knockout has been secured players will obtain a bounty chip that they can redeem at any time to pull an envelope that contains a prize. This envelope will have a minimum of $1,000 with the top prize being $100,000.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be here throughout the event, so stay tuned as the action unfolds.

Zachary Hambrice opened to 700, Ronald Farr called on the button and George Kellard completed from the big blind. The dealer fanned out {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} on the flop and Hambrice continued with a bet of 2,350.

Farr folded and Kellard check-called to see the {j-Clubs} turn card. Hambrice fired in around 3,800 and Kellard quickly threw his hand in the muck, sending the pot to Hambrice.
