Lahti Claws Some Back

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

William Lahti, who was the huge chip leader a few levels ago with more than double the second place stack has since lost momentum and dropped a portion of his stack.

He was involved in a hand with Benjamin Perez as he bet 8,000 on a flop of {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Perez called. The turn put three to a flush on board as the {4-Clubs} peeled off. Both players checked it.

The river came the {9-Hearts}. Lahti tossed in a bet of 35,000 and Perez called.

Lathi tabled the flush with the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to gain a pot to move back up.

Michael Reisman was in the hijack. He waited for a while before jamming all in for about 85,000. Jones called after about 10 seconds.

Reisman tabled the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for two pair and Jones tossed his cards into the muck.

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading {3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Roger Naughton bet 16,500 and was called by Richard Chevalier.

The {a-Spades} completed the board. Both players checked. Naughton tabled the {j-}{j-} but that had been pipped on the river by the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} of Chevalier who raked in the pot.
