Big Names Highlight Day 2 of $5,000 NLH High Roller at 3 p.m.

It is almost time for Day 2 of Event: #10: $5,000 NLH High Roller which gets underway at 3 p.m. with thirty players vying for the $120,704 grand prize.

The top nine players will get paid and levels elongate to 75 minutes today starting at Level 11 at with blinds at 1,500/3,000/3,000 which makes for what promises to de a day of deep-stacked high roller action as play will go all the way down to a winner today.

The remaining field is filled with big names and aspiring players alike as Bin Weng leads the field by some distance with a whopping stack of 760,500 which is good for more than 250 big blinds. He is no stranger to the high roller tournament scene as he has revved up his play in the last two years, adding many big results, and will be looking to add another here today by wielding his big stack.

Accomplished player Farid Jattin is next in chips with 441,000. Jattin has over 6 million in career tournament earnings and has a staggering total of 16 six-figure scores in his career, winning this title would become his 17th.

Two of the biggest names in poker still remain; Chance Kornuth who is coming off as a final table at WPT Choctaw just a week ago enters the day with 213,500 and high roller regular Alex Foxen is still alive, albeit with a short stack of 71,000 but with this structure that is still plenty of wiggle room for him to make a move on Day 2.

#6 GPI ranked player Adam Hendrix is also in with a chance on Day 2 with 74,000

Outside of the big names are many players who are looking to secure a big result today.

Austin local Mahesh Rathi has already had a successful Lodge Championship Series thus far and he is looking to add another big result on his home turf as he enters the day third in chips with 409,500.

Young up and comers, Brandon Lulov (247,000) and Michael Jozoff (69,000) are trying to add another result to continue their rise in the poker world.

And two women still remain among the final 30; Wendy Nguyen (142,000) and Jennifer Abad (99,500).

The action will likely go beyond twelve hours until a winner is reached, and PokerNews will be there for every moment.
