Burr Freezes Two Players at Once

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Ryan Burr
Ryan Burr

Ryan Burr opened from middle position and found two callers preflop, Kevin Garosshen in late position and Chase Griesbach from the button. The pot held about 4,000.

The flop showed up with the {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Action now checked to Garosshen who bet about half pot. When action came to Griesbach on the button, he elected to go all in for 21,800. Burr, the original raiser, called the all in.

Garosshen wasn't done with the hand, though. He also pushed all his chips across the line, totaling, 57,700.

Back on Burr, who deliberated for about one minute before also making the call. Cards were revealed for the massive pot.

"Nuts with a redraw," said Garosshen as he flipped {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

"I guess I need a five or a six," said Griesbach, who turned over {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Burr revealed his {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the flush draw and he had both other players covered.

"Hold!" pleaded Garosshen.

The {10-Hearts} on the turn must not have heard him. The {3-Spades} river completed the board and Burr catapulted himself into an early chip leader.
