The final day of Event #10: $5,000 NLH High Roller began just two days ago and it took 17 hours to find a champion. Michael Perrone topped a field of 82, banking $120,704 for his victory.
It was not an easy feat for Perrone who had to take down one of the best tournament players in the game when heads-up rolled around. That player is Farid Jattin, who was short when they started the battle and failed to get any momentum rolling during the early hours of the day.
Fast-forward 30 hours and the two are now seated at the same table in Day 1e. The unlikely roll might bring some action to the early stages of this friendly structure but as of now, it seems to be just another day on the felt for the two High Roller winners.
