Benjamin Sturms raised to 400 in middle position and was immediately three-bet by Carlos Rodriguez to his left. All other players folded and Sturms decided to make the call.

Sturms checked it to Rodriguez who bet 3,500 and Sturms made the call.

The turn {2-Spades} didn't change much and Rodgriguez went all in for about 7,500 and Sturms called.

Rodriguez turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} while Sturms had {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and was dominated. The {2-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing and Rodriguez secured the full double.

One player opened for 600 before finding two callers, including Noel Rodriguez in the small blind. The big blind decided to raise the price of admission to 1,600 and all players came along.

The flop showed {j-}{5-}{3-} and action checked to Kamyar Ansari in middle position who bet about half pot. Rodriguez raised from the small blind and all other players folded. Ansari four-bet the flop and both players got all the chips in the middle.

Rodriguez had the {5-}{5-} while Ansari held the {3-}{3-} for flopped set over set that had Ansari drawing to the last three in the deck.

It didn't come, and Rodriguez jumped up to the top of the leaderboard early.

Friday Starts Sunday with a Pot

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

Action picked up on the turn in an early pot of 8,000 chips. Two players looked at a board of {7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Jeremy Lyons checked to Patrick Friday who had position.

Friday fired a bet of 5,800 into the pot. Lyons thought for a bit and made the call.

The river landed the {5-Hearts} and Lyons checked again. Friday made a bet of 13,000, nearly half of a starting stack, on the river. Lyons shook his head and let his cards go.
