Giulio Mascolo Eliminated in 16th Place (£4,370)

The chipleader at the end of Day 1a, Giulio Mascolo, saw his attempt at Unibet Open glory come to an end in 16th place. Mascolo was down to 180,000 but picked up on the button and quickly went all in.

Francis Foord-Brown had in the big blind and called the few extra blinds off. The board came down , knocking Mascolo out with Foord-Brown's rivered two pair.
