Eluterio Rodriguez Eliminated in 3rd Place ($119,046)

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Eluterio Rodriguez
Eluterio Rodriguez

Eluterio Rodriguez jammed for 3.08 million from the button, and Spencer Champlin snap-called in the big blind.

Eluterio Rodriguez: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Spencer Champlin: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Rodriguez needed a nine to fade elimination, but the {8-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} board ran dry, leaving Champlin with over three-quarters of the chips in play going into heads-up play.

Jeremy Liu Eliminated in 4th Place ($97,000)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jeremy Liu
Jeremy Liu

Jeremy Liu shoved all in for around 1.8 million from the cutoff and Spencer Champlin announced a call from the button. Elutero Rodriguez and Eric Bunch were in the blinds and got out of their way.

Jeremy Liu: {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Spencer Champlin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Liu found himself in trouble after seeing Champlin's pocket queens, needing to improve for this hand to not be his last of the tournament. The board came {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and he was eliminated from the tournament as the fourth-place finisher, taking home $97,000 for his efforts.

Viet Vo Eliminated in 5th Place ($74,955)

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Viet Vo
Viet Vo

Spencer Champlin raised to 225,000 from the cutoff, then called a three-bet shove from Viet Vo for 1.4 million in the big blind.

Viet Vo: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Spencer Champlin: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

"Queen!" Vo said before the flop, and the {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop granted his wish, giving him queens-up and a big lead.

"Deuce!" Vo said before the turn, but the {7-Hearts} turn instead brought Champlin a full house and left Vo's tournament life hanging by a thread.

"Queen!" Vo said again, but the {a-Diamonds} was too little, too late for Vo, and Champlin continued his domination of this final table.

Champlin Accumulates Half the Chips in Play

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Spencer Champlin
Spencer Champlin

Eric Bunch raised to 255,000 in the cutoff and Spencer Champlin defended his big blind. The two saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and both players checked.

The turn came {3-Diamonds} and Champlin checked again. Bunch bet 300,000. Champlin called, bringing the river {4-Diamonds}. Champlin checked again and Bunch put out a bet of 675,000. Champlin thought for about 30 seconds and announced a check-raise to 1.9 million. Bunch instantly called

Champlin tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a wheel, prompting Bunch to muck. After stacking his chips, Bunch's stack now totals 16.65 million, over half the chips in play.

James Jewell Eliminated in 6th Place ($57,318)

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
James Jewell
James Jewell

Spencer Champlin was under the gun and raised to 225,000. James Jewell then found action on him in the hijack and he looked down at his stack. After a few moments, he announced he was all in. Action folded back to Champlin and he instantly announced a call.

James Jewell: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Spencer Champlin: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The table was astonished to see the two hands that were tabled.

"Just a setup hand," said Jewell, accepting his fate that the odds were against him with his tournament life at stake.

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to finish the hand and Jewell got up from his seat, shaking everybody's hand as the table exchanged mutual regards on a well-played tournament before heading to the payout desk.

Kris Burchfield Eliminated in 7th Place ($44,691)

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Kris Burchfield
Kris Burchfield

"All in!" Kris Bruchfield said with a grin, plopping his last 305,000 in the pot from the cutoff.

"Don't do it!" Burchfield told Spencer Champlin, who was in the big blind. Champlin did it, however, and called.

Kris Burchfield: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Spencer Champlin: {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Burchfield paired up on the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, but Champlin added a gutshot to his overcard on the {7-Spades} turn. The table gasped as the {8-Spades} hit the river to fill Champlin's straight, and the charismatic Burchfield wished the table luck before heading to the payout desk.

Jim Harris limped in from the small blind, then called off his last 505,000 after James Jewell moved all in from the big blind.

Jim Harris: {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
James Jewell: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Harris stood up before the {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop fell, which added counterfeit outs to his overcards. The {6-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river bricked off, however, and Harris hit the rail.

Katherine Offutt Eliminated in 9th Place ($29,982)

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Katherine Offutt
Katherine Offutt

Spencer Champlin raised to 160,000 from under the gun and Katherine Offutt three-bet him out of early position to 350,000. Action folded back to Champlin and he called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Champlin checked. Moments later, the dealer had announced an all-in bet from Offutt.

"Did you say all in?" asked Champlin after a few seconds. The dealer confirmed. Champlin threw in a few chips to call after a few seconds of thinking and the dealer announced a call.

Katherine Offutt: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Spencer Champlin: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Offutt had gotten her stack in as a dominating favorite for what would be around a 5 million-chip pot. However, the turn came {q-Hearts} to give Champlin aces up, leaving Offutt now drawing slim for her tournament life. The river {q-Spades} filled Champlin up to a full house, topping Offutt's two pair and ending her day early in gut-wrenching fashion.

Offutt returned shortly after collecting her winnings to graciously shake hands with everyone at the table, wishing them luck before making her exit.

Chuck Barker
Chuck Barker

Eric Bunch raised to 200,000 on the button, then called when Chuck Barker three-bet shoved for 240,000 in the small blind.

Chuck Barker: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Eric Bunch: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}

"Classic," Bunch said with a smirk.

"Keep 'em low!" Barker said, but the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop was high, and gave Bunch an open-ended straight draw to go with his overcards. Bunch wrapped the hand up after the {8-Hearts} turn completed his straight, and the {6-Clubs} river completed the board, leaving Barker one spot shy of the final table.

Eric Bunch enters the final day with 7,865,000 chips and the chip lead after knocking out Craig Kinney just before the end of Day 2 play. Not far behind is Maine's Spencer Champlin, who went on a tear at the end of the night to bag up 6,750,000 for Day 3 action. Rounding out the top 3 is James Jewell with a 4,300,000 stack, good for over fifty big blinds at the start of day's play.

On the other side of the spectrum, Jim Harris (850,000) and Viet Vo (620,000) both begin today's play with fewer than eleven big blinds, while Chuck Barker will have his work cut out for him after running his Big Slick into Katherine Offutt (2,460,000) and her pocket rockets on the very last hand of the night. Barker brings back just 125,000, good for just over 1.5 big blinds to begin the day, and he'll need to quickly spin it up in order to avoid missing out on the final table of nine.

Rounding out the remaining ten players are Jeremy Liu (3,075,000), Kris Burchfield (3,040,000), and Eluterio Rodriguez (1,770,000).
