Breaking Bad

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The tournament is now on a short break, but action will resume in a few minutes so keep it right here.

Alberto Gets There

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante
Anthony Alberto
Anthony Alberto

Anthony Alberto just chipped up nicely after rivering a straight.

After one player opened for the standard raise, and another called to take a flop, Alberta came along by flatting from the button with {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

The flop came down {10-}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and all three players committed 1,200 to see the turn, which brought an {8-Clubs} to the table. The action was checked to Alberto and he fired out a bet of 2,000, folding one opponent while the other flatted.

On the {4-} river - which completed Alberto's up-and-down straight draw, his opponent check-shoved after a 4,000 wager. Alberto called the player down and dragged in a sizable pot to get his day started on the right foot, two days after making a deep run in Event 9, where he finished in 17th place.
