Event #11 $3,250 High Roller commences at 5pm today at the WSOPc stop in Foxwoods (Connecticut). This will be one of the premier events of the stop and features the highest buy in.

Last year, Brock Wilson of Ardsley, NY topped a field of 58 entries to take home a grand prize of $65,250 in the high roller at Foxwoods.

The structure of this event is a speedy one as each level is 40 minutes. Day 1 will begin at 5pm and will play 12 levels before bagging for the night. There will be a 15-minute break every three levels. Registration is open all the way through Day 1 and players can actually register just before the start if level 13, which is the start of Day 2 at 2 p.m. on Monday August 26. Players are allowed to re-enter until the end of registration should they exhaust the 40,000 starting stack.

PokerNews will be on the floor covering this event from beginning to end so make sure to keep on eye out for all of the updates.
