Any Minute Now

Morning all, and welcome back to the Amazon Room where our 14 remaining runners are slowly filing in to reclaim their chips and take their best shot at a bracelet.

Brian Swinford managed to sneak the lead back from CHad Brown in the last couple of hands, but to be honest there's not much in it -- barring possibly one or two of the short stacks, unless they can pull a miracle out of somewhere early, it's anyone's game.

Early Chop for Gilbert

Zak Gilbert tangled with relative big stack William Kohler, betting on 5th street when we caught up with the action and then calling bets from Kohler on 6th and 7th street.

The result: a chop.

Gilbert: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {9-Hearts} ({5-Spades} {7-Spades} {2-Hearts}) for the high
Kohler: {3-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {J-Spades} {8-Hearts} {6-Spades} {2-Clubs}) for the low

Gilbert's perched on 95,000; Kohler is lord and master of 225,000.

Everyone's a Winner

Another straight-up chop, this time between Allie Prescott who took the low and Richie Sklar who got the low.

Prescott: {3-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {10-Spades} {J-Clubs} ({8-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {7-Hearts})
Sklar: {5-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} ({A-Spades} {4-Spades} {6-Diamonds})

Current score: Sklar 160,000, Prescott 220,000.

Savage Outdraw for Kohler

Matt Savage was determined to get his chips in, raising on 6th street to a bet from William Kohler and then raising all in to another bet on 7th. Kohler called with a flush for the high, and Savage only got half the pot with his wheel.

Savage: {5-Spades} {2-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {3-Spades} ({4-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs})
Kohler: {6-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {K-Spades} ({7-Diamonds} and two more diamonds)
