Day 1 Started

Welcome to Event #32: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em!

Welcome back to the Rio All Suites and Casino for the 2011 World Series of Poker!

Today marks Day 1 of Event #32: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, and we're already looking at a record-breaking field. Tables will be used in Amazon, Buzios, and the Pavillion Room, and there is a buzz in the hallways which is comparable to that of a Day 1 during the Main Event. This is no surprise though, the 2011 WSOP has seen huge fields to this day, and from the looks of it, it will continue to grow looking forward.

The plan is to play ten levels today, and we will be providing all of your up-to-the-minute updates throughout the day!

Salles Vs. Six

Level 1 : 25/25, 0 ante

Qualter Salles and six other limpers got to see a board of {j-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Clubs}. After every player checked on the flop Salles figured he wasn't going to let that happen again and bet out on the turn. All six players folded and Salles took in a small pot to be around 4,500
