jkuether3 Joe KuetherOut with 30 minutes to go in the day. Don't think I made one good hand in any of the stud games. So many bad run outs. 2500 4m tomorrowJune 14 2012
We didn't catch the hand, but we can confirm that the 2009 winner of this event, James Van Alstyne, has been eliminated from the tournament. Likewise, Matt Hawrilenko has been sent to the rail.
hoss_tbf Matt HawrilenkoBusted. Pretty happy with my play, excited for. 4 max tomorrowJune 13 2012
A woman limped from the under-the-gun position only to have Andrey Pateychuk, who was next to act, put in a raise. Action folded around to the defending champ, Aaron Steury, in the cutoff and he three-bet. The big blind opted for a four-bet, both the UTG and Pateychuk called, and Steury moved all in for just 100 more. Three calls ensued and then the big blind led out on the flop.
Two calls were made before the appeared on the turn. Again the big blind bet, UTG called, and Pateychuk moved all in for 1,900 total. Call, call.
The river saw the big blind bet yet again, which the UTG player called only to muck when her opponent revealed for a full house and the nut low. Pateychuk mucked as well, signifying his elimination, while Steury showed for an inferior full house and the same low.

Every time we come back to the computer to write a post and then venture back out into the field, a whole slew of players have hit the rail. Since out last time out, Mike Sexton, Joseph Cheong and Jeff Madsen have all hit the rail.
JeffMadsenobv Jeff MadsenBusto somehow .. Super tiltedJune 13 2012
We haven't had the chance to write much on the defending champ of this event, Aaron Steury, though we can confirm he is holding steady over at Table 27. We can't seem to catch him in a hand, but that doesn't mean he's not getting involved, as evidenced by his Twitter.
NDGrinder Aaron SteuryLost a bizarre razz hand where I had (A2) 5 to start 3 bets 3 ways and the ole T873 board bet 6th and 7th into 3467 and my 5Q32 boardJune 13 2012
We can also confirm that Steury took time during the dinner break to serve as a guest on the PokerNews Podcast, which should available soon in itunes.
Here's a look at some of the Twitter talk from the dinner break:
