Shuffle Up and Deal

The players are in their seats (mostly) and the clock has chimed on 1pm. Let's get this day two show on the road. Win three rounds players and we'll see you in the quarters tomorrow.

Williams Picks off Early Bluff

David Williams has taken the early advantage in his match versus Kory Kilpatrick after picking off a river bluff.

Williams called a raise before both players checked the {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. The turn came {3-Diamonds} and Kilpatrick bet 1,500 when Williams checked to him. Call.

The river was {4-Hearts} and Williams checked and had to wait two minutes before Kilpatrick bet a chunky 4,100. He snap-called with {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, besting Kilpatrick's busted straight draw with {j-}{10-}.

Cashing Lammers Early

A few players have elected to use their two rebuy lammers right at the start: David Benefield, Dimitar Danchev and Jonathan Clancy. Thomas Gabriel has cashed in one of his lammers.

Table 426

Level 2 : 400/800, 0 ante

There's a lot a action happening over on table 426.

Jim Collopy and Victor Ramdin are having a three-bet fest pre flop. Twice in a row Collopy raised to 1,000 in NL and twice faced a three-bet to 2,500. He folded the first time but shoved the second time to take down the pot. I don't think their match will be lasting very long.

Raja Kattamuri and David Benefield are sat at the other end of the table and the former was forced to trade in his third lammer (T24k).

The two saw a {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop in NL before all the chips flew into the middle.

Benefield: {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for trip threes.
Kattamuri: {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flush draw.

The board ran out a blank {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Raja Kattamuri has since dropped even further to 20,000 chips.

Dealer Change on 413

Level 2 : 400/800, 0 ante

Andy Frankenberger and Alan Keating have traded in their old dealer for a new one.

The old one still had life in her, but the PLO option wasn't working too well. She had trouble calculating the pot and was replaced after a few complaints from Frankenberger.
