Moorman Leads Ante Only Event

Day 2 of the $1,500 Ante Only Event will be today at 1:00 pm PST. With that chip leader Chris Moorman will lead the field of 71 players in their goal to get to a final table. Moorman who has two cashes in the series will take his lead of 143,900 and try to turn it into a gold bracelet.
Play started yesterday as 678 players all competed in efforts to try to outlast each other to win the top prize of $201,399. With only 71 players surviving the day the players are already in the money. Everyone today will get at least $2,581. Another player who will be a threat today with 118,000 is Sam Panzica. Other players to compete against Moorman are Allen Cunningham, Aaron Massey, Blair Hinkle, David Vamplew, Frank Rusnak, and Carter King. Others will try their luck as the players complete 10 more levels.

The action started with Age Spets opening to 1,800. David Vamplew and Tom McCormick made the call, as Michael Lipman went into the tank. With only 4,000 chips behind, he finally decided to just call, as the four saw the flop come 
It checked around to McCormick, who threw in a bet of 3,900. Lipman again thought about his decision for over a minute, before opting to call off his remaining chips. Spets was next to act, and he took his time, before moving all in for approximately 22,000 in chips.
“Protection for ya,” said McCormick to Lipman, as Vamplew got out of the way.
Lipman got out of his seat, as he waited for the action to be complete. McCormick ended up folding, as Spets rolled over for top pair. Lipman confidently tabled his 
for an up-and-down straight draw, as both players waited for the dealer.
“Three! Three! Three!” pleaded Lipman, as the dealer rolled over the 
on the turn. “Eight,” he cried, but the river would be no help, with the
