Massey's Massive

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
Aaron Massey
Aaron Massey

Aaron Massey just moved up and over the 100,000-chip mark for the first time and is threatening the lead.

He flatted a 6,800-chip bet from his heads-up opponent on the turn of a {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board with about 13,000 already in the middle.

Then when the {7-Spades} river fell and his opponent checked, Massey carefully checked behind, turning over {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to drag the pot.

That's Why You Can't Be Late

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante
Eddy Sabat
Eddy Sabat

In the first hand back from the dinner break, Eddy Sabat found himself pushing all in on the flop facing a bet from his heads-up opponent. The board read {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} and eventually Sabat's opponent called off his chips with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Sabat had flopped a set with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and it was all over after the {5-Hearts} turn.

"First hand back from break," Sabat said with a smile. "That's why you can't be late."

Feel The Power

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Davide Suriano is hunting another one here.
Davide Suriano is hunting another one here.

2014 WSOP $10,000 Heads-Up champ Davide Suriano is on the rise here in the latest $1,500 and is playing a little power poker.

He raised it up to 400 under the gun and the button and big blind both obliged. After the big blind checked, Suriano also fired 600 chips at the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and only the button called.

The {2-Clubs} that fell on fourth brought another bet from Suriano, who made it 2,200 and the button refused to fold. Finally on the {k-Diamonds} river the button got the hint, folding to a bet of 5,500.

Every Which Way But Loose

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

With more than double the starting stack already, Allen Kessler appeared to be loosening up just a little.

He checked his option in the big blind when the little blind limped. But when the limper checked the {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, Kessler min-bet and took it down.

A couple hands later he folded the button and all was right with the world again.

Baldwin Gets There

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin

Eric Baldwin called an early position raise to 350 and the small blind came along for the ride. The flop came {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and everyone checked.

But when the {9-Clubs} turn was revealed and the original raiser bet 600, Baldwin was the only caller. The riaser checked the {a-Clubs} river, but Baldwin would have none of it, making it 1,125 to get a glimpse of his cards.

The raiser called, but mucked when Baldwin turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.
