174 hopefuls came back for Day 2 and the bubble burst in level 14. Phil Goatz shared the money for $1,123 after another opponent was eliminated at the same time. Many eliminations followed and amongst them two bracelets winners with Svetlana Gromenkova (30th - $3,974) and Philip Tom (46th - $3,010). However, multiple bracelet winners such as Mark Radoja, Brandon Cantu, and David Bach didn't make it into the money.

Matt Grapenthien also bagged tonight for 238,000. The winner of the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship in 2014 will try to catch the second WSOP title of his career.

Brian Vollick (286,000) started Day 2 as the chipleader and managed to stay among the biggest stacks most of the day, is cashing here his first WSOP event ever. All the remaining players are already guaranteed of $4,711 for their efforts in this event but all have their eyes on the six-figure first place prize.
