The cards are in the air, the pitching has begun. Day 1c of this popular event is underway with starting blinds of 25 and 50 and the dealer button in seat 8. We'll make a round through the tournament rooms to see who's sitting down early.
Sitting down early, Eugene Katchalov found himself on a table with just two opponents. In one of the first hands, Katchalov opened the cutoff with the button and small blind not at the table yet. The big blind called.
The big blind, while eating a healthy breakfast, checked on . Katchalov bet 125 and the big blind called.
The same was seen on the turn with the big blind checking, Katchalov betting (300), and the big blind calling.
On the river, the big blind checked one last time. Katchalov bet 900 and the big blind called.
Katchalov showed for a full house and the big blind mucked.
