"davidchien88" Wins WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Event #16: $840 Bounty Hunters Championship ($113,881)

After about ten hours of play, Taiwan's "davidchien88" won the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Event #16: $840 Bounty Hunters Championship to claim the $49,038 top prize along with a whopping $64,843 in bounties to bank a total of $113,881.

"davidchien88" made it to heads-up play with more than a 2:1 chip advantage, and they quickly turned on the pressure. Before the final break, they were up nearly 8:1, and though second-place finisher Jakub "Janusz1957PL" Michalak (second - $66,135) did manage to survive with a double, he ultimately busted in a cooler running two pair into a flopped set.

Also scoring big at the final table were Enrico Camosci (third - $48,597), Eder "BlueMoon" Campana (fifth - $28,575), and Robert Haigh (eighth - $26,596).

The event itself was another huge success for GGPoker with 1,477 entries generating a $1,181,600 prize pool to smash the $1 million guarantee.

"N@pudp6hja" Brings a WSOP Circuit Ring to Estonia in Event #17: $52.50 Ultra Deepstack Bounty Turbo NLHE ($21,747)

On Saturday evening, "N@pudp6hjas" put the small country of Estonia with a 1.3 million people on the map by winning a WSOP Super Circuit Online Series gold ring in Event #17: $52.50 Ultra Deepstack Bounty Turbo NLHE for $21,747 including $9,505 in bounties at GGPoker.

This was easily the biggest win as the $21,747 haul accounts for most of their $33,231 listed in poker tournament earnings on the GGPoker Network according to GGPoker's proprietary Poker Craft.

Hungary's "running well" ran well until heads-up play and settled for a healthy runner-up prize of $15,359 including $3,152 in bounties. Canada's Dat "JDbirdzz" Doan was the only other player to secure a five-figure haul after finishing in third place for $10,347 including bounties.

"jomud9ahsorjai" (fourth - $8,301), "Bank_E" (fifth - $5,826), and Pedro "Xororo" Gil (sixth - $3,793) all finished in the middle of the pack at the final table. Meanwhile, "_Inkognito!" (seventh - $2,934), "madeezy" (eighth - $2,768), and "Xu Fan" (ninth - $1,777) were among the first final table casualties.

The tournament itself was a huge hit with 6,233 entries generating a $311,650 pool to smash the event's $250,000 guarantee. It was also one of the quicker WSOP Super Circuit Online Series events thanks to a turbo structure lasting just under 7 hours from start to finish.

Niklas Astedt Leads the Final Nine in the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Main Event

Online poker legend Niklas Astedt could have yet another big win waiting for him next Saturday as he will head into the final table of the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Event #18: $525 Main Event at GGPoker with a chip leading stack of 149,037,043.

Astedt needs no introduction as he has been ranked number one in the world at PocketFives over several long periods with the site crediting the Swedish superstar more than $22 million in online tournament cashes. Even more amazing is that he doesn't have his GGPoker screenname listed on his profile where he has won more than $10 million according to GGPoker's PokerCraft.

Meanwhile, fans of GGPokerSquad member and Twitch streamer Patrick "Egption" Tardif should be please as he advanced to the final table with a sixth-place stack of 60,713,588. Tardif is also the only player at the final table that sold action of himself via the GG staking feature with five investors sharing 20 percent of Tardif's eventual haul.

Other notable players at the final table include Yanfei "aoteman1888" Chi (second - 104,740), Fabian Spielmann (fourth - $93,472,602), Allan "Freedom35" Mello (seventh - 48,840,768), and David Miscikowski (ninth - 28,070,997).

The tournament itself was a huge success with 14,496 entries generating a massive $7,248,000 prize pool to smash the event's lofty $5 million guarantee.
