Day 1a combined with Day 1b of Event #55: $400 Colossus No-limit Hold'em attracted a whopping 9,399 entrants. The total prize pool is still being worked out but will be available shortly.

The first starting flight attracted 4,217 entrants. There were 632 to make the money but only 484 players advanced to Day 2. Hiep 'David' Tran bagged the chip lead coming back to 1,308,000.

The second starting flight attracted 5,182 entrants. In the last level of the day, 778 players made the money with just 697 to bag. A few players among end of day chip leaders include Frank Flowers (1,217,000), Andrew Heckman (1,000,000), Kao "Flexx" Saechao (994,000), Mikhaile Richards (950,000), and Anant Patel (925,000).

The remaining players combined from each flight will come back for Day 2 tomorrow October 31 at 10:00 a.m. PT at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The players will play 15 levels with a duration of 40-minutes. They will have a 15-min break every three levels with a 60-minute break after Level 29 (≈7:00 p.m.).
