Welcome To Event #35: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet, a unique event that combines seven big bet games at The 2022 WSOP at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas.

Players will navigate a rotation of big bet flop or draw games (Big O, No-Limit Hold’em, No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw, Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better, No-Limit Five Card Draw High, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw), over three days of action.

This year’s event marks the fifth time it has appeared on the WSOP schedule. Last fall, Denis Strebkov outlasted a field of 212 entries to win $117,898 and his second gold bracelet.

Fitoussi Takes From Shoreman

Level 1

Pot-Limit Omaha

Bruno Fitoussi raised on the button, and Jon Shoreman defended his big blind to see the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop. After a quick bet and call, Shoreman led out on the {7-Hearts} turn for 3,000 and was raised to 10,000 by Fitoussi. Shoreman called, and checked the {5-Diamonds} river.

Fitoussi fired 19,000 and Shoreman let his hand go.

Racener Takes from Lakemeier

Level 2

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

John Racener bet after his first draw from the small blind, and was called by Jens Lakemeier on the button.

Racener took one card while Lakemeier drew two before calling Racener's bet of 5,600. Both players drew one and checked it down, with Racener announcing "Jack". He showed {j-}{8-}{5-}{3-}{2-} to take down the pot.
