Jennings Forecasts Ouster

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Brian Jennings three-bet all in with 43,000 chips from the small blind. Ivan Kuziv called the raise with his own all-in from under the gun.

Brian Jennings: AKAll in
Ivan Kuziv: QQ

Jennings lamented his ace-king combination as "the hand that's knocked me out of tournaments all summer. Here it is again."

Another chapter was added to the tale, as the runout of 7J52J sent him home with Kuziv's queens holding up.

Vera Dong, who pondered a call from the button, groaned when, according to her, she realized her hand that contained a jack would have knocked bother players out.

Bolleurs' Queens Crush Nathan

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Richard Bolleurs raised from early position before Adam Nathan responded with a jam from the big blind. Bolleurs called to send them to a showdown.

Adam Nathan: JJAll in
Richard Bolleurs: QQ

Nathan was in a world of hurt, and the low card flop of 362 did not bring any sense of relief.

The 7 turn did not change the standings, and the 8 river shut the door on Nathan's hope of a suckout.

Shuttlewood Shows Varela the Exit

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pablo Varela got his chips in preflop against Kalan Shuttlewood and was at risk as they headed to a showdown.

Pablo Varela: AJAll in
Kalan Shuttlewood: AK

Both players flopped an ace, but Shuttlewood's kicker was best on the A49 flop.

The 2 was of no help to Varela, and the Q was the wrong paint to send Varela out of the tournament.

Jendoubi Almost Got Away

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Raouf Jendoubi moved all in for his remaining 38,000 from under the gun, and action folded around the entire table, to Andy Mai in the big blind.

Mai moved in his stack to call, more than covering Jendoubi, and the players flipped their hands.

Raouf Jendoubi: 1010All in
Andy Mai: QQ

Jendoubi didn't like his chances and stood from the table to watch the 847 flop, which brought in a small straight draw sweat.

The 5 turn and 9 runout wasn't enough and he was sent to the rail.

Bolek Spikes Wheel

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Christopher Bolek began the action with a raise to 5,000 from middle position. Victor Wang called from the big blind to send the two to a flop.

Wang checked the 2J5 flop, which led to a bet of 3,000 from Bolek. Wang responded with a raise to 9,000 and Bolek called to come along for a turn.

Wang chose to bet 17,000 on the 4 turn. Bolek took some time before he announced he was all in. Wang responded with a call and cards were on their backs with Wang at risk.

Victor Wang: KJAll in
Christopher Bolek: A3

Wang was ahead on the flop, but the turn was disastrous as it had him drawing dead making the 7 river meaningless as he exited the tournament.
