Shockley Eliminated Brutally

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Harrison Shockley had just lost a huge pot to "Disco" Dave Welch, and was left with just 2,000 chips to his name when he saw a golden opportunity to spin up as he called all in from middle position. Jorge Dominguez then raised to 40,000 on the button, and Ran Kadur defended his big.

Dominguez continued for 52,000 on the J109 flop after being checked to, and Kadur called. The 3 turn checked through, as did the K river.

Kadur tabled AQ for the rivered nuts, and Shockley showed that he really did have it, but his AA was no good. Dominguez mucked his cards.

Jablonski Shocked and Eliminated

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action was picked up with Steven Jablonski with all his chips in the middle of the table and at risk against Mickael Alleon.

Steven Jablonski: 1010 All in
Mickael Alleon: QQ

Jablonski was looking at a potential double up when the dealer flopped KK10 catching a full house. The turn 5 didn't change anything, but the K fell on the river, giving Alleon the superior full house.

Jablonski looked a bit shell-shocked, unable to move or get out of his chair as the dealer pushed the pot towards Alleon. After a few seconds of taking in what happened, Jablonski picked up his stuff as Alleon fixed his stack.

Painter Gets Work of Art with Aces

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Michael Painter raised from the button to 24,000, and Powen Fang three-bet all in 140,000. Painter quickly made the call with the pocket rockets.

Powen Fang: KJ All in
Michael Painter: AA

The board gave some hope to Fang with J6Q7Q, but in the end, Painter's aces were the best with the better two pair.

Vemulapalli Can't Cool Down

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Prasad Vemulapalli opened up the action from the hijack, as he raised it up to 28,000. Bryan Ho ripped for 220,000 after peeling his cards in the big blind, and Vemulapalli made the call, as the two battled it out in "El Clásico."

Bryan Ho: QQ All in
Prasad Vemulapalli: AK

The flop kept equities almost even, as 746 gave Vemulapalli a whole host of new outs. He hit one on the 3 turn, leaving his opponent drawing to a single out for a chop. A player at the table did call for it, but the 10 river didn't help, as the remaining players all commented on just how well Vemulapalli was running.

"Running purer than angel dust," one added, as Vemulapalli nears the 200 big blind mark.

Nutted on the Flop

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Christian Cheng found himself a nice spot, as he picked up a suited connector on the button, and shoved for 52,000. Christopher Dupuy was in the big blind, and mulled over his decision before deciding that he was getting the right odds, as he made the call.

Christian Cheng: J10 All in
Christopher Dupuy: 65

It was Cheng who had the odds with him, however they flipped on the 432 flop, as Dupuy hit the nuts, leaving his opponent drawing to the most unlikely of chops. Cheng's two pair on the 3J runout meant nothing.

Leonsantiago Stacks Up Jumalon

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Lucas Jumalon
Lucas Jumalon

Lucas Jumalon opened from the cutoff and faced a jam for 95,000 from Orlando Leonsantiago in the small blind. Julamon called and the players went heads-up to the runout.

Orlando Leonsantiago: AKAll in
Lucas Jumalon: QJ

Leonsantiago was looking to hold and the A109 flop kept him ahead, but it also gave Jumalon a straight draw.

The K turn put Jumalon ahead, and there was no way for Leonsantiago to come back on the 2 river.
