The third event of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe is set to start at 2 p.m. local time today here at the King’s Resort in the Czech Republic. Event #3: €1,350 Mini Main Event will be the first event to cross the €1,000 buy-in-mark and is a brand-new appearance here in Rozvadov. There is a €551,750 guaranteed prize pool which includes five seats to the Main Event worth €10,350 each.

Many familiar players have already been spotted during the WSOP International Circuit which came to a close two days ago and quite a few of them are expected to participate in this tournament too. Fresh WSOP Circuit Ring winners like Andrei Makavets, Muhamet Perati, Jaroslav Peter, Marius Gicovanu, Michael Sklenicka, and WSOP Circuit Main Event Winner, Jakub Oliva might be showing their faces again.

When players take their seat on Day 1a, they will get 100,000 in chips. There are three starting flights in total with one reentry possible per flight. The late registration and reentry period is open for twelve levels and the break that follows it. A 15-minute break has been scheduled after every three levels of 40 minutes each with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 9. Play will continue until there is 15% of the field left on the Day 1s.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand to bring you all the updates from the floor as they happen throughout the day until the final bag has been stored away.

Level 1 : 100/300, 300 ante

The players have been welcomed to the third event of the World Series of Poker Europe and the dealers have been instructed to shuffle up and deal if they have three or more players at their table with the button in Seat 8.

Bak's River-Bet Gets the Fold

Level 1 : 100/300, 300 ante

Christopher Putz raised to 800 from the cutoff and Anatoly Korochenskiy called in the small blind. Andrew Bak three-bet to 3,800 in the big blind after taking some time to contemplate his options. Putz took a few seconds too before making the call while Korochenskiy folded.

They both checked through the {3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades} on the flop to the {2-Clubs} on the turn. Bak bet 4,200 and Putz went along.

The river completed the board with the {a-Spades}. Bak quickly fired a bet of 11,000 over the line and Putz folded just as quickly.

In the meantime, Robert Campbell took his seat on Putz's left.

Huber Has Eights

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante

Allen Bansode raised to 800 from under the gun at the end of the previous level and Ali Akok three-bet to 2,900 on the button. Josef Huber and Blaz Zerjav both called in the blinds while Bansode folded.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, Akok continued with a bet of 5,000 when it was checked to him and only Huber made the call.

They both checked through the {a-Diamonds} on the turn to the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Huber now barreled a bet of 12,500 over the line which was enough for Akok to fold after checking his cards once more.

Huber flipped over {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, "Good enough?" he asked.

"No," Akok replied.
